Shanghai Aluminum Trade Assocation was founded on March 23,1989 upon approval of Shanghai Municipa Economic Commission via Document HuJin No.49(89). The establishment of the association is based on Aluminum processing-cooperative group inShanghai area by of the light metal branch association of China Nonferrous Metal Processing Industry Association(That group was set up on March 24,1986)
Nowadays Shanghai Aluminum Trade Association (ab. SATA) consists of 143 member units that made up by local and Yangtze Delta Area Aluminum Trade or a lot of relevant enterprises that major in Aluminum fabricated products, Smelting aluminum and associated enterprises.
